Mary Ann Connelly has more than 26 years of experience as an attorney. From 1988 to 1998, she worked for the Cook County Assessor’s Office, serving both in the legal department and in the appeals department. Prior to that time, she worked as an assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County. She has been a member of the Law Offices of Terrence Kennedy, Jr. since November, 1998. Mary Ann was chairman of the State and Local Taxation Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association in 1995-1996, and is currently co-editor of the committee’s newsletter. She has also served as Chair of the Judicial Evaluation Committee (Cook County) for the Illinois State Bar Association. She graduated from St. Mary’s College in 1977, studied law in London at the Notre Dame Law School summer program, and received her law degree from John Marshall Law School in 1982.
